Purpose
The DEBATE PROJECT presents controversial debates in a balanced format including a proposition, opposing arguments, original political cartoons, and supporting fact cases. Based on the yearly work of a high school computer class, we seek to preserve recent history and important facts we think other caring teenagers would need to know to be active and critical thinkers in the world today. Please tour our display and tell us what you think. Use our work as a reference, or even participate in our quest for the truth!

Democracy
As part of its work, the Debate Project defines and supports DEMOCRACY in every way it can. We understand democracy to be "government for the common good," the opposite of fascism. To promote this end, we disseminate essential information to "caring teenagers" with hopes that they will read and respond with equal interest.
